Holbrook Sugar Hill is a vibrant senior living community offering active adult living, assisted living, and memory care. The community is conveniently located within walking distance of the Sugar Hill Center, providing easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, and various recreational facilities.
As an Occupational Therapist with TransPerfect Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the aging population. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
- Helping optimise functional self-care, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
- Accurately completing all required documentation in a timely manner
- Participating in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
- Collaborating with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop a robust therapy program
- Providing clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
- Following all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritising patient care
- Supporting compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Performing duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as assigned
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- A current or eligible Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
- A graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program, with a degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level OT education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency if foreign-trained
