Join the TransPerfect Health family as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) serving residents at Lenbrook, a premier continuing care retirement community in the heart of Buckhead.
As a PTA, you will play a key role in helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals while working with a dedicated interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for treating residents with noted disorders or deficits within Physical Therapy scope of practice upon receiving physician orders and completing evaluations
- Optimize patient functionality and skills
- Complete all necessary documentation via Net Health
- Collaborate with supervising PTs to develop programs tailored to residents' needs while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
- Attend all required meetings, including care planning, staff meetings, and family meetings
- Assist the facility in meeting standards for state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
- Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
- Complete other tasks deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
Qualifications
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice
