Description
WSP is seeking a Transportation Analyst to support traffic operation services for the Transportation Management Center (PA-TMC) for the Port Authority New York-New Jersey (PANYNJ). The successful candidate will work in our Jersey City, NJ office.
The Transportation Analyst will provide critical support for traffic operations, working in a 24/7 environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and evaluating emergency and non-emergency traffic conditions and incidents
- Coordinating with other transportation agencies, such as NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, NJDOT, and others
- Operating and monitoring intelligent transportation systems equipment, including CCTV and vehicle detection systems
- Generating reports and notifications, such as entries into Transcom's T-Rex platform and Everbridge/PA Alerts
- Ensuring accurate and timely transfer of information to subsequent shift personnel
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in traffic operations, including prior experience in traffic operations or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with operations staff, technicians, engineers, and law enforcement
- Ability to read, write, and understand English

The expected pay for this role is $30.34 per hour.
