Description
We are seeking a part-time Breakfast Collaborator to join our team at an aparthotel located in the south-east of Brussels. The aparthotel operates 24/7, catering to both local and international business and leisure guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and setting up the breakfast buffet, welcoming guests, and ensuring their satisfaction during the service. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and setting up the breakfast buffet before guest arrival
- Providing professional and courteous service to guests
- Replenishing the buffet throughout the service while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Monitoring product freshness, cleanliness, and presentation
- Clearing, cleaning, and storing the breakfast area after service
- Ensuring hygiene, food safety, and internal procedures are followed
- Reporting any issues or needs to management
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel management, or breakfast services (desirable)
- Strong customer service skills and a neat appearance
- Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work early mornings independently
- Good organisational skills and autonomy
- Strict adherence to hygiene and food safety regulations
- Ability to maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment
- Team spirit and professional communication with colleagues and management
- French language skills (desirable); English and/or Dutch are advantages
