Description
We are seeking a KYC Analyst to join our client's dynamic and growing organisation in Montréal.
As a KYC Analyst, you will intervene at the final stages of the KYC due diligence process, working closely with all stakeholders, including Data Officers, Data Controllers, Screeners, Investigators, Compliance teams, and Relationship Managers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all data, documents, and information collected during the due diligence process are compliant and reliable to determine the final risk level of the client relationship.
- Verifying that the level of due diligence performed aligns with the final risk level of the client relationship.
- Confirming that local regulatory requirements for the KYC case have been met.
- Identifying financial security risk triggers and consulting with Compliance teams as needed.
- Preparing a memo substantiating the KYC analysis review.
- Submitting the file for Relationship Manager's final sign-off.
- Collaborating with QA officers and team leads to improve the quality of four-eye checks.
- Organising the Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) as necessary.
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of risk-based due diligence is an asset.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, particularly MS Excel and Power BI.
