Description
WSP is seeking a Senior Packaging & Material Handling Systems Designer to support the growth of our Facilities and Industrial Systems practice.
The role involves designing and developing packaging and material handling systems, producing CAD and 2D/3D design deliverables, performing technical calculations, and providing leadership and mentorship to junior designers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing packaging and material handling systems
- Producing and reviewing CAD and 2D/3D design deliverables
- Performing mass balances, conveyor calculations, and related technical documentation
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers
- Supporting project execution and presenting design deliverables to clients
The ideal candidate has 9+ years of progressive experience in packaging systems, material handling, or industrial facilities design, strong communication skills, and advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.

The expected hourly compensation range is $35.15 - $51.25.
