Description
Welocalize, a Welo Global brand, is seeking a native-level Korean speaker to join a large-scale AI and consumer technology program as a Korean Linguistic Evaluator & Functional Tester.
In this hands-on, on-site role, you will evaluate a pre-release AI model in Korean and test its performance on a real device. Your judgement will shape how well the technology works before its release.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review pre-release AI model output in Korean, assessing accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
- Test the Korean experience against the English one, confirming feature parity and checking the product handles non-Latin script, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input correctly.
- Identify display problems and localization errors, writing clear reports for developers.
- Share your perspective as a native-level speaker on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances.
- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.
- Support other linguistic projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level or fully bilingual Korean, written and spoken, with a current feel for everyday and technical language usage.
- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, comfortable moving between iOS and Android.
- Sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgement when assessing quality.
- Ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts and guidelines, and explain issues clearly in English.
- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
