We are looking for a Senior Java Developer, AVP to join our Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) team at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new functionality on Java and optionally Kotlin, working with the business and BAs on functional and non-functional requirements, co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality, investigating and fixing production incidents, driving stability and monitoring improvements, designing and implementing subsystems and intersystem protocols, mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge across the team, and taking ownership of assigned components and features from design through production delivery and support.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and excellent knowledge of Java, with Kotlin being a nice to have. They should also have proficiency in high-load distributed systems design, knowledge of consistency models, API types and trade-offs, good knowledge of algorithms, complexity, data structures, basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases, basic knowledge of modern Cloud technologies, and experience with modern SDLC tools.
