Description
We are seeking a back-end intern to join our Back End Engineering team at Agoda, a leading travel company. As a back-end intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a top-notch codebase and work on scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that serve millions of requests.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Python, RAG, Skills, and MCP
- Employ state-of-the-art CI/CD and testing techniques to ensure everything works without any downtime
- Think about the full life cycle of our products, from product requirements, technology selection to coding standards, agile development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Requirements:
- Studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or any related fields
- Practical knowledge with Python and Kotlin
- Familiar with basics of Object-oriented and/or Functional programming
- Familiar with relational and/or non-relational databases
- Good English communication skill
- Ready to learn fast and passionate about catching up with AI ecosystem
Nice to Have:
- Built some back-end applications and services
- Familiarity with the LLM ecosystem and tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, MCP, and Skills
- Core engineering infrastructure tools like Git for source control, TeamCity for Continuous Integration, and Puppet for deployment
