Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Regulated Water Asset Design team, serving the municipal water sector in the UK and internationally. As an Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to shape the delivery of our services, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and build relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of project delivery, including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule, and budget
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Shape the delivery of services and identify opportunities for complementary services
- Build client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to innovative approaches, new services, and digital products
- Implement the Future Ready and Net Zero programme
- Act as an ambassador for best practice
- Undertake bid preparation, resource and budget development
- Line manage and support graduate engineers and degree apprentices
- Contribute to team recruitment and growth
- Develop technical, managerial, and leadership skills
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status or significant progression towards ICE or CIWEM membership
- Experience in managing engineering design teams
- Experience in delivering projects to budget and schedule
- Acted in a checking or technical approval role
- Experience in mentoring junior civil engineering staff
- Client-facing experience
- Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
