Description
We are seeking a Chef Manager (Bank) to join our team at Hadley Lawns Care Home in Barnet. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for creating a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You will also lead and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience
- Be innovative in your approach to cooking and maintain high standards
- Manage all mandatory paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, and orders and deliveries
- Cater for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties, and birthdays
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen
- Relevant hygiene certificates
- Passion for cooking and delivering an excellent dining experience
- Natural leadership skills and ability to mentor others
- Innovative approach to cooking and maintaining high standards
