Description

Join the BBC as a Production Assistant Apprentice, working with BBC Radio Cymru in Cardiff or Bangor. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, developing practical skills and playing an active role in bringing creative ideas to life.

As a Production Assistant Apprentice with BBC Radio Cymru, you'll learn, grow, and contribute to the team. You might help develop ideas and stories by researching content and finding guests and participants. You'll gain real-life experience by assisting your team on location, in the studio, or in a TV gallery, and helping in the studio.

You'll study for an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning on-the-job and off-the-job. This means you'll attend learning blocks (up to a week at a time) with our learning provider, working towards a Level 3 Creative Media qualification.

The apprenticeship is 13 months long, and you'll earn a salary of £24,650.

To be eligible, you must be 18 years old or over, have lived in the UK continuously for the past three years, and be legally qualified to work full-time in the UK.
