Description
We are looking for an exceptional Solutions Engineer to join our team supporting the US Commercial East | Mid-Atlantic Operation. You will be the customer interface of an exciting new technology, working closely with the sales team presenting ThousandEyes in prospective business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the technical sales process by assisting sales in technical prospecting, demonstrating solutions, building relationships with customers, and scoping solution deployments
- Participating as a member of the Solutions Engineering team, attending weekly team meetings, and sharing technical challenges and successes
- Interfacing with Marketing to support trade shows, events, and blog posts
- Interfacing with Product Management and Engineering to provide solution feedback and suggestions
- Interfacing with Customer Success to coordinate post-sales support
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering experience
- Experience selling into Fortune 500 or other enterprise organisations
- Experience working with application and network protocols, including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP
- Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with application and network performance analysis solutions
- Experience with packet analysis of network and application protocols
- Experience using at least one scripting language, such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript
