Description
We are seeking a Relief Cleaning Operative to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning communal and staff areas, including hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, office and welfare facilities, and toilet cleaning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
- Cleaning customer toilets
- Scrubber drying, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Disinfecting all high touch points
- Detail work, such as skirtings, sills, fixtures, etc.
- Following group and company policies and procedures
- Reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
- Using all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
- Reporting any issues or training needs to your Line manager
The role requires good attendance, the ability to work to routine schedules, proactive task management, excellent timekeeping, and good communication skills. The shift pattern is Monday to Sunday, with zero hours per week, and the pay rate is £13.80 per hour.
