Description
We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will undertake detailed physiotherapy assessments for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or post-surgical needs. They will formulate and deliver individualised treatment plans using a range of evidence-based interventions, including exercise therapy, manual techniques, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking detailed physiotherapy assessments for patients with various needs
- Formulating and delivering individualised treatment plans
- Delivering therapeutic interventions such as exercise therapy and manual techniques
- Collaborating with consultants, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assessing and recommending mobility aids and therapy equipment
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- Good clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £25.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
