GitLab is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to drive growth in the EMEA region by structuring services engagements that create true partnership and shared success with customers.
As a Senior Professional Services Engagement Manager, you will play a critical role in designing, positioning, and closing outcome-oriented professional services engagements that translate complex DevSecOps and digital transformation initiatives into clear, measurable mission-critical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusted advisor relationships with technical leaders and partners
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and Systems Integrators
- Design outcome-oriented services proposals
- Structure engagements and commercial proposals
- Develop custom-scoped SOWs and staffing plans
- Articulate GitLab's services value proposition
- Manage project- and account-level escalations
- Position consulting, training, success tiers, and additional solutions
- Facilitate solutioning sessions
- Drive measurable outcomes
- Own the engagement lifecycle
- Influence cross-functional teams
- Partner with regional sales and engagement leadership
- Foster a culture of enablement and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Demonstrated progressive experience structuring, scoping, and selling professional services engagements
- Proven success operating in a pre-sales context
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and cloud transformation initiatives
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working cross-functionally
- Capacity to work autonomously and asynchronously in a fully remote setting
