Description
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Spire Methley Park Hospital in Methley, Leeds. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals to patients, consultants, and staff in both the staff restaurant and patient rooms.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality. You will be expected to assist the Head Chef with meal preparation, presentation, and service, as well as maintain accurate records of stock and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef with meal preparation, including peeling and chopping vegetables
- Prepare and cook food items to agreed standards
- Present and serve food and beverages to the required standard
- Maintain accurate records of stock and supplies
- Comply with health and safety procedures
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in a similar establishment
- Professional self-starter able to work unaided
- Highly organised and capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment
