Maxillofacial Outpatient HCA - Buckinghamshire

18 Week Support Limited is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for flexible weekend sessions at a well-established NHS Trust in Buckinghamshire. With competitive rates of pay and both consistent and ad-hoc shifts available, this is an excellent opportunity to take on additional work around your existing commitments while supporting high-quality, patient-centred care within an outpatient setting.

The main duties of the job include:

• Preparing and supporting outpatient clinics
• Taking patient observations and recording clinical information
• Assisting clinical staff with patient care
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised clinical environments

18 Week Support is a leading NHS insourcing provider, working in partnership with NHS Trusts across the UK to increase clinical capacity, reduce waiting times and improve patient access to care. Our clinical teams work alongside NHS services to deliver additional outpatient and surgical capacity, supported by experienced Clinical Leads and Nurse Leads. Patient safety, clinical governance and quality of care are central to everything we do.

The salary is negotiable depending on experience. The contract is locum for 12 weeks with flexible working patterns.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven NHS experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Minimum 6 months outpatient HCA experience within the past 12 months
