Description
Join the Tech & Data Young Talent Program at KPN, where you'll play a direct role in building the digital infrastructure of the future. As a Young Talent, you'll work on technological and data-driven innovations that impact millions of people. The program lasts three years, during which you'll work as a full-time colleague, contributing to strategic and organization-wide issues that influence KPN's course.
You'll start in a function or assignment that matches your study background and work experience, within one of our technical domains: Data Science & AI, IT, Network & Cloud, or Cyber Security. Under the guidance of experienced technical colleagues, you'll build substantive knowledge, increase your impact, and develop into a strong professional within your specialty.
Possible tasks within the Tech & Data track include:
- Working on cybersecurity tasks, such as identifying improvement points in processes, analyzing security trends, creating clear reports, and improving security policy.
- Working on challenging data assignments, such as predicting sales and next-best-offers using ML & DL models.
- Building bots and scripts to automate processes using AI.
In addition to challenging projects, you'll follow a personal development program focusing on leadership, self-awareness, and collaboration. You'll receive guidance from a talent manager and a buddy, learn from professional trainers, and be part of a close-knit community of fellow trainees and KPN employees.
As a Tech & Data Young Talent at KPN, you'll discover your qualities, and we'll look together at where your talent best fits within KPN. We require:
- A recent WO bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Telecommunications, Network Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or Cyber Security.
- Knowledge of programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, containerization, and cloud services (like AWS or Azure).
- The ability to translate complex digital transformations and technical issues into functional solutions and inspire teams to contribute to KPN's goals.
- A curious, ambitious, and eager-to-develop mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch.
