Description
We are seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to take on a leadership role as MRI Team Leader at Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Edinburgh.
As MRI Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of the MRI service, ensuring high clinical standards, supporting and developing colleagues, and delivering a professional, patient-focused MRI service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the MRI service, ensuring patient care, safety, and imaging quality
- Comparing current MRI practices against benchmarks and implementing best practices
- Providing expert advice and support on MRI imaging techniques and protocols
- Supporting colleague development, training, and competency assessment
- Collaborating with the Radiology Manager to develop and grow the MRI service
- Ensuring compliance with MRI safety standards, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Degree (BSc Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC Registered Radiographer
- Minimum of 5 years' MRI experience
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a radiography team
- Advanced MRI knowledge and experience across a range of examinations
- Willingness to participate in a flexible rota, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
