As a trainee lawyer in our legal department, you will gain practical experience at our Berlin location. You are looking for an exciting secondment in an internationally operating corporation? The legal department of Vattenfall GmbH bundles the legal advice of the different Vattenfall companies. As a full member of our highly qualified and specialised team, you will work directly on very interesting problem solutions and experience an international company that has set itself high demands to make a decisive contribution to climate neutrality.
Your tasks:
- Work closely with the legal department and relevant departments to answer queries.
- Provide legal advice to German Vattenfall companies and the entire international Vattenfall Group.
- Prepare expert opinions and draft documents that you present to relevant departments and your team.
- Deal with current judgments and laws, evaluate them, and apply them to current topics and queries.
- Participate in internal and external appointments, including court hearings, and daily business.
Requirements:
- You have completed your law studies with the First State Examination and want to complete your secondment as a trainee lawyer in the legal department of a company.
- You are interested in the aforementioned legal areas and tasks.
- You are also interested in energy industry topics and the associated energy transition and growing electromobility.
- You work well with other departments, are communicative, and team-oriented.
- You have very good German language skills and good English language skills.
