Description
Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks food and beverages. You will be responsible for managing food quality and freshness, following state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
A typical day will include creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues. You will actively support team efforts, adjust to business and guest needs, and deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Executing food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
- Maintaining an inviting dining area for guests throughout your shift
- Engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Producing handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Following all food safety requirements and completing cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Locating and identifying damaged, recalled, or expired items and processing according to best practices
- Ensuring accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices
- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Capability to work both independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
