We are seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to our patients and customers. As a Pharmacy Technician, your duties will include:
- Managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
- Providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations
- Ensuring all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients
- Demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without being distracted
- Excellent customer service skills to actively look for ways to help people and respond to their needs
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
- Problem resolution skills to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and choose the best course of action
Physical demands of the job include:
- Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks
- Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers
- Extending hands and arms in any direction
- Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds
