Description
Ajax Systems, a leading European technology company, is seeking a Junior Manual QA Engineer (Mobile) to join our testing team. Our QA team ensures the quality and stability of Ajax products throughout all stages, from development to mass production.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Testing new and existing functionality of mobile and desktop applications
- Working with application logs
- Conducting regression runs
- Developing and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, traceability matrix, and test plans
- Analyzing business requirements in technical specifications and design
- Working with custom QA tools, such as mock servers and emulators
- Analyzing automated test results
- Participating in planning and estimating tasks
- Collaborating with developers, automation engineers, project managers, business analysts, designers, and QA engineers of adjacent platforms
Requirements:
- 1+ year of manual testing experience for mobile applications
- Excellent knowledge of testing theory
- Ability to apply test design techniques
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Experience working with business requirements and technical specifications
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Testrail (or similar)
- Experience working with application logs
- Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, PyCharm
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to identify defects and causal relationships
- High level of self-organization
Preferred skills:
- Experience with REST API or gRPC
- Experience with mock servers
- Experience with automated tests
