Description
Visa is seeking an Endpoint Operations Engineer to join their team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Endpoint Systems that connect Visa's clients globally to VisaNet for transaction processing, clearing and settlement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management, technical advice and support to Visa's client institutions and processors to ensure customers' expectations are exceeded.
- Coordinate projects and maintain proper documentation and updates of tasks.
- Utilize Generative AI tools to deliver automation and efficiency in day-to-day work.
- Create implementation scripts for vendors' field engineers and support teams for installation and activation.
- Perform installation of Linux systems with the help of on-site vendor engineers remotely.
- Proactively work with Global Support groups and/or clients or vendors to provide flexible and nimble solutions for client issues and resolve system problems quickly.
- Ensure that all deployments follow Visa security guidelines and report any non-compliance.
- Communicate and work cordially in a global team with teammates from different cultures and time zones.
- Participate as a member of an on-call rotation to support multiple systems during off-hours.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Provide weekly reporting for CMDB and BASE II records.
- Act as Change and ServiceNow Coordinator to ensure all incidents and changes are in compliance with ITIL and ServiceNow rules.
- Act as Inventory Record Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely updates of inventory.
- Proactively work with leaders to implement improvements and help push the team to achieve better efficiency and advancing in technical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- 1 year of working experience in IT Operations and Delivery, or fresh graduates with excellent results during interview technical tests.
- Experience in Linux system administrative tasks.
- Foundational project management skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with using Generative AI tools such as m365 copilot, Claude code, Codex to work and automate tasks.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, programming or scripting languages.
- Understanding of XML, JSON, and XSLT.
- Encryption security technology like SSL and IPSEC.
- Ability to effectively perform problem isolation and resolution of critical systems.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a dedication to the customer service experience.
- Must exercise a reasonable amount of independent judgment under minimum supervision.
- Ability to assess and analyze technical situations and provide viable alternatives.
- A keen interest in learning new skills and technology.
