We are looking for an experienced Trial Attorney to join our Business Trial Group in Atlanta or Nashville, working directly alongside the group's Co-Managing Chair.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high-value business cases from intake through trial, including motion practice, depositions, and jury trials
- Represent victims of contract breaches, professional negligence, construction defects, and other business misconduct
- Build and grow a book of business by developing referral relationships with other attorneys, professionals, and business owners
- Represent the firm at conferences and industry events to expand the Business Trial Group's reach
- Collaborate with a talented team of trial attorneys and a dedicated paralegal
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- 5 to 10 years of litigation experience, with meaningful trial experience
- Active bar membership in good standing in Georgia or Tennessee (depending on office)
- Strong litigation fundamentals: motion practice, discovery, depositions, and courtroom experience
- A self-starter who wants autonomy and is ready to bet on themselves
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys networking, attending conferences, and earning the trust of referral sources, because your success will depend on it
