Description
WSP is seeking a Senior Track Inspector to join their Rail & Transit team in Ontario. This is a part-time position contributing to various rail infrastructure projects across the province.
The Senior Track Inspector will oversee the inspection and maintenance of railway tracks to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough inspections of railway tracks, switches, and crossings to identify and report defects.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements from Metrolinx, Arema, CN Rail, and CPKC.
- Overseeing maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely resolution of track issues.
- Collaborating with maintenance crews to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, defects, and maintenance activities.
- Providing training and guidance to junior inspectors and maintenance staff.
- Participating in emergency response activities related to track issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in railway track inspection.
- Extensive knowledge of railway track standards, regulations, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in track inspection are preferred.

Compensation ranges from $48.70 to $67.10 for MB & ON.
