Description
As a Food Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Warrington, Cheshire, you will play a crucial role in leading the food hall team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Modelling and coaching high standards and efficiency across the food hall
- Managing compliance with processes while maintaining great shopkeeping and customer service
- Ensuring customers get the food they want when they shop with us
- Managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate
- Assuming overall responsibility for running the store at times
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience providing excellent customer service and coaching a team to do the same
- Ability to deliver KPIs and manage disciplinaries, performance issues, and employee relations
- Leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced operational setting
