Description
We are seeking a Senior Service Manager - Prison Services to be responsible for the financial, operational and clinical performance of several teams within the Care Group. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across HMP Wormwood Scrubs, HMP Pentonville, and other prisons as required by NLFT, ensuring effective contract performance, stakeholder management, and the safe delivery of healthcare services under the subcontract arrangement with Practice Plus Group (PPG).
The post holder will be expected to work and lead in a way which supports delivery of local and national priorities as defined by the Trust's Business Plan and Clinical Strategy. The post holder will be expected to participate in the trust Tactical on call Rota when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple prisons
- Ensuring effective contract performance, stakeholder management, and safe delivery of healthcare services
- Developing and implementing service delivery and improvement plans
- Working in collaboration with other senior managers and clinical leaders
- Enabling and encouraging team development through QI initiatives, training, and research

The salary for this post is £72,719 to £83,505 per annum, inclusive of HCAS.
