Job Summary You'll work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacy team in ensuring patients receive their medications safely and accurately. You'll need to be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
- Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
- Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction
- Customer service orientation to help people in a friendly manner
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and bend or stoop
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
