Welocalize, a Welo Global brand, is looking for a native-level Spanish (Spain) speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client.
This hands-on, on-site role combines evaluating a pre-release AI model in Spanish (Spain) and testing how the product performs on a client-supplied device , a smartphone and a next-generation smart glass.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review pre-release AI model outputs in Spanish (Spain) for accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
- Test the Spanish (Spain) experience against English, confirming feature parity and verifying product handling of non-Latin scripts, diacritics, and mixed-language input.
- Identify display issues and localization errors, documenting each issue clearly.
- Provide native-level insights on navigation and usability.
- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level or fully bilingual proficiency in Spanish (Spain), written and spoken.
- Confident using smartphones and laptops, comfortable working across iOS and Android.
- Strong attention to detail and fair, objective judgment when assessing quality.
- Ability to work independently and clearly explain issues in English.
- Previous experience in software/app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
