Join the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames as the Head of Pensions Investments & Treasury, a senior leadership role managing the Kingston and Sutton LGPS Pension Funds and Treasury Management function.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and management of the pension funds, working collaboratively with the Head of Pensions Administration and reporting to the Directors of Finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with the London CIV, Independent advisors, actuaries, and other stakeholders
- Delivering effective treasury management of the Councils' cash position
- Providing professional leadership to the two pension funds
- Ensuring high-quality services to Pension Fund members
The ideal candidate will have:
- Detailed investment experience in the LGPS sector
- Effective communication skills
- A robust approach to governance
- Experience working with elected Members and senior officers
