The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health creates an inclusive environment for patients and visitors, making a positive first and last impression. They perform various administrative tasks to ensure efficient center operations and deliver an unmatched patient experience.

Core Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and guests
• Conduct visit check-in and assist patients with required forms
• Collect co-pays
• Update patient information and make changes in the electronic medical record platform
• Schedule and reschedule appointments within the electronic medical records platform
• Manage phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed
• Manage faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintain the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional phone etiquette
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities served (where necessary)
• US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a customer service setting
• Some college education

• High level of integrity

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65 per hour. This position is full-time and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, and wellness programs.
