Description
WSP is seeking an Associate Industrial Hygienist to join their Mining Industrial Hygiene practice. The successful candidate will provide technical support on various industrial hygiene and Environmental Health and Safety projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in industrial hygiene assessment planning, fieldwork, sampling, reporting, and client communication.
- Conduct assessments at industrial facilities, including climbing ladders, walking up stairs, and carrying field equipment.
- Perform industrial hygiene monitoring, noise assessments, hazardous materials surveying, and abatement monitoring.
- Assist senior staff in conducting EHS audits and EHS program development.
- Collect and document field data and observations.
- Analyze, evaluate, and interpret field and analytical data.
- Prepare written and verbal reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience working as an Industrial Hygienist.
- Proficiency with IH sampling techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with relevant occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $60,900 - $85,700 per year (Colorado only)
