Description
We are seeking a SOX Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Corporate Strategy team. As a SOX Senior Financial Analyst, you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
The Finance and Corporate Strategy team ensures that the business's capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. You will gather and analyze financial data to influence decisions within the business, drive initiatives, and help ensure alignment with our wider objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complex financial analysis for a financial function or business
- Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making
- Forecast financial results
- Lead and advise on complex business initiatives
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives
- Represent the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes
- Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts
Requirements:
- First-level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred
- Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical skills
