Description
WSP USA, an award-winning engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Intermediate Consultant - Commissioning for its West Offices, with locations including Houston, TX. The successful candidate will execute building commissioning processes, energy auditing, and building retrofit applications, and support sustainability certification applications.
Responsibilities:
- Execute standard building commissioning processes for new and existing construction as per ASHRAE Guidelines
- Perform engineering design reviews for commissioning-related activities
- Support obtaining building sustainability certifications such as LEED, Energy Star
- Work with various building components, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical distribution, lighting, and specialty systems
- Conduct meetings, coordinate schedules, and prepare reports
- Self-driven to make an impact in the profession with self-stewardship and honor in work
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant years of related field experience
- 1-3 years of relevant post-education experience in building or systems commissioning
- Familiarity with building commissioning principles, practices, and processes
- Familiarity with building planning, design, and installation management
- Analytical mindset with sound judgment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and tools

Compensation:
- Expected salary: $79,300 - $104,000
