Description
The Medicines Evaluation Unit (MEU) Ltd, an IQVIA business, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Manchester.
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will assist and oversee the manufacture, preparation and assembly of IMP. You will be responsible for the oversight, maintenance, qualification, calibration, and lifecycle management of all pharmacy equipment to ensure compliance with GPhC, MHRA, GMP, GDP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of study related paperwork e.g. drug dispensing forms, material specification forms
- Review protocols and provide input with respect to IMP and Pharmacy requirements
- Assist with preparation of IMP under the manufacturing licence including the completion of all associated documentation
- Undertake or oversee the independent verification and review of all post-QP dose preparation activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and patient safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (desirable)
- GPhC registered technician (desirable)
- Experience within a GMP regulated environment
- Attention to detail
- 1 year experience within a Pharmacy environment
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language
