Description
We are seeking a Margin Data & Analytics professional to join our team. You will design, develop, and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and share knowledge with peers.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends and contribute to the organisation's technology communities.
- Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with C#/.NET, SQL, and relational database expertise (Oracle preferred).
- Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, BO, etc.).
- Experience leading delivery and design of data-intensive platforms, including data publication, governance, and analytics solutions.
- Ability to operate as a senior technical and functional owner, partnering directly with business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python, cloud, and modern data technologies such as AWS, Athena, Starburst, or equivalent.
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms and applying DevOps, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Prior experience transforming legacy data platforms toward modern architectures.
