The Business Account Experience team is dedicated to building a cohesive, insightful and intuitive experience for businesses relying on Wise for their daily operations and financial management. As a Senior Engineering Lead, you will lead and build the team, drive the technical and product roadmap, and ensure scalability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of driven engineers
- Work closely with the Product Manager to shape the roadmap and technical vision
- Enable your team to succeed by ensuring they are well-resourced and set up to deliver on their roadmap
- Stay close to the tech and product, setting high standards for quality
- Own the health and productivity of the engineers in your team
- Collaborate with other engineering leads and teams across Wise
- Own the hiring, growth and development of your team
Qualifications:
- Strong, hands-on technical experience in OOP Languages and modern technology stacks
- Experience managing teams with a mix of Front-end, Back-end and mobile engineers
- Hands-on experience in building direct consumer/business products
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on B2B products
- Fluent with modern AI-assisted development workflows
