Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at SelectHealth, you will work effectively across the entire software development life cycle, including requirements definition, prototyping, detailed design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of production systems.
You will collaborate with technical staff, management, and business operations staff to deliver working solutions to complex business problems according to agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop 'best-in-class' engineering solutions with a focus on modularity, security, reliability, and reusability
- Maintain clear documentation for code, designs, and processes
- Follow secure coding practices and implement security measures
- Ensure smooth software deployments and address any issues promptly
- Work within an agile team and participate in agile ceremonies
- Stay updated on new technologies and best practices
- Test and debug code to ensure reliability and stability
- Analyze complex technical problems and devise solutions
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor and coach lower-level technical professionals
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and implementation
- Extensive proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ
- Expertise in Salesforce integration with third-party and internal applications
- Hands-on experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for Salesforce customisations
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and deployment strategies for Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer 1 or 2, Administrator, Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, or Integration Architect)
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or another technical field
- Formal engineering certification on one or more cloud platforms
- Certification in containerisation technology
