CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Waxhaw, NC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacy team with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining patient records
- Provide excellent customer service, answering patient questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve pharmacy goals and objectives
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
- Remain flexible for both scheduling and business needs, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
Requirements:
- Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must be at least 16 years of age (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement)
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs

Salary Range: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
