PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care

We are seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at PT Solutions in San Marcos, Texas. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will deliver evidence-based care to patients in the acute care setting at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Medical Center.

The hospital is a 170-bed facility recognised as a Level 4 Trauma Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Primary Stroke Center. You will evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in all areas of the hospital, including the intensive care unit, progressive care unit, medical-surgical unit, and outpatient surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based care to patients to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a CAA-approved Speech-Language Pathology program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
• Basic Life Support certification

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $45.00-$55.00 an hour
