Description
Alpine Academy is seeking an Overnight Awake Residential Support Staff to ensure the safety and security of youth on campus during nighttime hours. As an Overnight Support staff, you will remain awake for the entire shift (approximately 10:30 pm - 6:30 am) and be responsible for actively monitoring cameras, conducting home checks, and responding to student needs throughout the night.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Monitoring cameras and conducting home checks at intervals throughout the night
- Direct monitoring of students who are a safety risk
- Responding to student needs, such as using the restroom or receiving medication
- Participating in thorough documentation of shifts, incidents, and relevant information
- Communicating with supervisors and other Overnight Support staff
- Participating in assigned tasks, such as clerical duties and occasional projects
- Receiving and maintaining training in Handle With Care and CPR/First Aid
The ideal candidate will be at least 21 years old, able to pass a background check, and have a valid Utah driver's license. You should be able to stay awake during the night, connect with youth and staff, and be genuinely invested in helping youth.
