We are seeking an experienced AVP Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient applications, with primary accountability for customer journey solutions.
Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will be responsible for building high-performing teams, driving engineering excellence through modern architecture, high-quality engineering, automation, security, CICD, and operational best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and devise solution strategies
- Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations
- Adhere to secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing practices
Requirements
- Experience with technologies such as REACT, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Ability to design, build, test, and operate production services
- Experience working with APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models
- Strong understanding of application architecture, dependency management, and maintainable code design
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, Datadog, and Helm
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and identity management
- Experience with AI engineering tools to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, implementation, and documentation
