Description
We're seeking a Principal Functional Consultant to join our APAC Financials team. You'll ensure the successful implementation of Workday's product solutions, providing expertise to clients on configuring and testing Workday solutions to meet their business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to design, configure, and deploy functional requirements
- Develop expertise in Workday Financial Management product suite
- Perform tasks on an engagement, including understanding client business requirements, configuring solutions, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, and assisting clients in testing solutions
- Work with clients to convert legacy data into Workday
- Assist integration consulting teams to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions
- Mentor new consultants and ensure clients take advantage of Workday best practices
- Complete and maintain product expertise and Workday Certification(s), as well as stay familiar with Workday's roadmap
- Provide status reports to Engagement Managers and keep them informed of project status
Requirements:
- 7+ years of functional experience in Financials software solutions or systems
- 7+ years of consulting experience
- Expertise in at least one area: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting
- Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ultimate Software, ADP, Ceridian, or similar applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, business analysis, and requirements gathering abilities
