Description
We are seeking an experienced HME Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a medium-sized store with delivery volumes of 2000-5000 per month and a staff of 9-25 employees.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership experience, prioritise growth and personal/professional development, focus on developing others, and be community-minded.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the financial performance of the site to maintain long-term financial viability
- Participating in budgetary discussions and providing feedback to leadership
- Collaborating with system leadership and educating clients, staff, and providers regarding our products and services
- Recruiting new business and nurturing vendor and provider relationships
- Leading a staff of professional respiratory therapists and delivery assistants
- Analysing industry trends and products, and conducting product trials
- Establishing clear priorities and creating timely and effective resolution plans
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a customer service or home healthcare role
- Experience in a leadership role, overseeing people or processes
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills and excellent computer skills
- A talent for influencing others and adapting quickly to the ever-changing landscape of healthcare
- Compassion, understanding, and empathy
Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:
- License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support Certification for healthcare providers
- Three years of Home Medical Equipment experience
- Two years of experience in a leadership role, over people or processes
