Description
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the prompt completion of all work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contract work orders, and remedial work orders.
The ideal candidate will have a current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at the appropriate level of qualification, City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and a time-served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support to a specific hospital site
- Providing competent technical, health, safety, and environmental support and assistance as required
- Acting as an exemplar of company policies and procedures
- Providing training, mentoring, and hands-on assistance to any additional site-based technicians or engineering assistants
- Providing engineering support and advice to local hospital managers as required
