Description
We are seeking a Waiter Assistant to join our team at Barcelona Pool House. As a Waiter Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our members have an exceptional experience every time they visit us.
Your main responsibility will be to assist our service staff and ensure that each member receives outstanding service. You will be responsible for delivering food and beverage orders from the kitchen or bar to the tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the rest of the dining area.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver food and drinks quickly and efficiently from the kitchen/bar to the tables
- Maintain a spotless working environment
- Provide excellent service and be responsible for your assigned section
- Build relationships with members to provide personalized service
- Clean and prepare cutlery and glassware for service
- Prepare additions to tables in advance, such as lemon wedges and condiments
- Participate in opening and closing procedures, including setting up and clearing tables
We are looking for someone with:
- A passion for food, drink, and hospitality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Fluency in English or Spanish
- Organizational and reliability skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
