Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target means being part of a team that provides a consistent experience for guests. You will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming experience for guests and team members
- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues promptly
- Support team efforts and maintain a positive attitude
- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks
- Locate and identify damaged or recalled items and process accordingly
- Ensure accurate inventory recording and execute sampling best practices
- Complete all required training requirements and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders if needed
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
