Description
Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target means being part of a team that provides a consistent experience for guests. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing handcrafted beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest experiences by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues promptly
- Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, including the dining area and coffee machines
- Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory management, and data accuracy
- Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining food safety
Requirements:
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
